Amazon Global Store China today announced the addition of two new overseas sites for sellers, namely Amazon India (amazon. in) and Amazon Middle East (Souq.com), providing new opportunities for its global distribution. It is reported that the Amazon global store has been including the United States, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Mexico, Australia, India, the Middle East and other Amazon global 12 overseas sites open to Chinese sellers. During the 2018 Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping seasons, Amazon India became the most visited and traded shopping website in India. Amazon's India mobile shopping App became the most downloaded mobile App in India in 2017, according to data research firm App Annie. The number of online shoppers in India is expected to exceed 120 million in 2018 and 220 million by 2025. Amazon Middle East is the largest e-commerce site in the Middle East. With more than 70 million monthly visitors, the Middle East site offers consumers nearly 10, 000 choices across 21 different categories. According to BMI Research, e-commerce transactions in the Middle East will grow from $26.9 billion in 2018 to $48.6 billion in 2022, a growth rate of 81 percent over the next four years, and the potential of this emerging market will be a new blue ocean for Chinese sellers to expand into the global market. Currently, Chinese sellers can log on to the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia sites of the Middle East Station to carry out cross-border e-commerce export business.
